We are aware of an issue impacting the access to the ABB Ability™ Energy Manager portal (https://sitemanager.ability.abb/).

Products impacted:

Impact statement:
  • It is not possible to access the web portal 
  • Connected device, telemetry and analytic services are not impacted. No data loss is expected.
Root cause:
  • An issue has been identified with the DNS (Domain Name System) providing the ability.abb domain name. The incident has been escalated to the service provider.
 
The next update will be provided as events warrant.

The incident has been resolved.

The supplier has restored the service.

However, due to how the DNS system work, it might take up to 30 minutes to get the fix propagates among all the DNS servers.

We expect Energy Manager portal to be available for most of the users as writing.
