The scheduled maintenance originally planned on Oct. 15th, 2024 for the ABB Ability™ Energy Manager and Smart Tracker is postponed on a new date that will be communicated in the upcoming days.
Because of that, no impact on service availability is expected on Oct. 15th, 2024.

We would like to inform you that due to a regression we had to withdrawn the ABB Ability™ Provisioning Tool v2.16.0 from the ABB Library.
Such regression is only impacting a subset of use cases (connecting to a factory new gateway), but as a precautionary measure we decided to retire v2.16.0 from the General Availability. Current stable version is then v2.15.1.
As today, if you:

Have installed v2.16.0 already, please uninstall it and re-install v2.15.1 from the following link: https://library.abb.com/d/9AKK107991A9195

Are still operating version v2.15.1, no action is required

Are still operating a version older than v2.15.1, you can safely update it via the update tool, it will download the correct version

An incident has been reported to the SMS service provider.

We are aware of an issue related to user invitation emails from https://sitemanager.ability.abb/ not being delived to invited users.

The incident has been resolved. Now invitation emails are correctly delivered to users.

As a workaround please proceed as following:
- Inform the invited user via an alternative communication channel to login on https://sitemanager.ability.abb/
- Proceed as usual, accepting the invitation from the Profile Menu > Sites
The ABB Ability™ Energy Manager, Asset Health and Smart Tracker platform will be under maintenance on September 3rd 2024.
A new version, R24Q3.2, of the platform will be released.
Expected impact:
- Brief web services disruptions (less than 10 minutes) may occur during the entire maintenance window
- Telemetry processing can be delayed up to 90 minutes between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM UTC
- devices may appear as disconnected during such time and alarms triggered with a delay
- some gaps in the data trend might be shown in the widgets and reports; missing data points will be backfilled within 24 hours
- Device and site commissioning will not be impacted, but delays in the connectivity status reporting are expected between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM UTC
